Rove Modal is a studio founded to cultivate original work across film and the arts, independently and through collaboration with fellow filmmakers, artists, and thinkers. We’re driven to create social impact and cultivate work that holds truth, invites curiosity, and deepens our connection to each other and the world around us.

Rooted in documentary, we develop, create, and collaborate across the visual, performing, and literary arts. Our work often explores culture, the natural world, and the forces that shape how we live and connect.

Projects are developed from early ideas through completion, with care and dignity for all involved, and artistic integrity and craft shaped by experience working across both independent and studio productions.

We believe in the power of art to inspire change and reveal what is true, beautiful, and human. What moves us connects us.

  • We develop films, documentaries, series, and narrative work rooted in human experience, the natural world, and the cultural forces that shape how we live and connect.

Projects are developed from conception through completion, shaped through exploration, care, and a commitment to elevating each narrative to its most impactful and inspired form.

We approach every narrative with care, cinematic discipline, artistic integrity, and a commitment to truth.

  • We are a multimodal creative studio. We develop work across film, the arts, and cultural platforms guided by what the story and moment require.

Our roots in music, filmmaking, and cultural and natural exploration shape how we create and collaborate across diverse mediums.

    Form follows the work.

  • We collaborate with artists, thinkers, and organizations to develop original projects and platforms from early ideas through completion. One of our core missions is to support the growth of artists and original voices.

Each collaboration begins with a shared point of view and a commitment to create with impact. We move deliberately, with transparency, clarity, and a focus on what the work requires at each stage.

We partner with people and organizations who are committed to truth, open to exploration, and willing to embark on the artistic journey.

  • Nature is a place of awe and wonder. It reminds us of what is still wild, intact, and worth paying attention to.

We are committed to protecting the natural world, its landscapes, habitats, and wildlife.

A portion of proceeds from films and creative work supports conservation efforts.
